Cheongwadae Sarangchae, Seoul

Cheongwadae Sarangchae, which was opened in 2010, is the centre of contemporary Korean history. It is a place where one gets to experience the history of Seoul and the legacy of Korea's former presidents.

The building is designed with sustainable practices in mind by utilising more solar and geo thermal energy sources.

It is also a tourist information centre whereby one can obtain information about the country's world heritage site and cultural assets.

There are various halls in this building, each depicting and displaying the history of the Republic of Korea, Seoul as well as past presidents of Korea. On top of that, there's also a souvenir shop and cafe in the building.

Lastly, before leaving, I got myself these commemorative stamps as a memento :)
