Myeongdong, Seoul

Myeongdong, literally means "bright town", is one of Seoul's main shopping and tourism districts.

Unlike Namdaemun or Dongdaemun, many designer brands are sold in Myeongdong. Several major department stores in this area include Lotte Department Store, Noon Square and M Plaza.

There's a duty free in Lotte Department Store, and although I don't usually shop when travelling, I made an exception this time to purchase a bag that I like :)

It's not only shopping in this district, but also foods. Dining options includes fast food, Korean, Western and Japanese cuisine. Street foods are also available, if you wish to have a quick bite or snack.
