10th Men's Hockey World Cup 2002


The Hockey World Cup is an international field hockey competition organised by the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

The 10th Men's Hockey World Cup was held in Kuala Lumpur from 24 Feb to 9 Mar 2002. The main venue for the tournament was in National Hockey Stadium Bukit Jalil, with 16 countries taking part to vie for this prestigious title.

Pos Malaysia issued a set of 3 stamps to commemorate this international acclaimed tournament, showcasing world-class players in interesting moves.
