Christmas Island Christmas stamps are issued every alternate year and have included Santa Claus in a variety of island settings.
The 45c stamp shows Santa admiring a Christmas Island Palm on the island, decorated with Abbott's Booby and a Red Crab.
The 90c stamp shows Santa approaching Christmas Island, where Santa's sled is being pulled towards Christmas Island by crabs rather than reindeer.
Christmas Island stamps are valid for use within Australia and can also be used as an alternative Christmas stamp.
