The Kensington Flora Hotel, Gangwon

After a day of fun in the Everland Theme Park and a sumptuous Korean BBQ dinner, we checked in to The Kensington Flora Hotel, located in the Odaesan National Park.

I don't think that this is a new hotel, as the furniture and design are old. Having said that, the room is clean, and considered spacious, although not huge.

As we reached the hotel quite late, and need to check out quite early the following day, we didn't really have the time to enjoy the facilities available, such as sauna, swimming pool and fitness centre.

During our stay, we saw some bugs around the area. Known as the "Shield Bug", it is a herbivorous insect which eats grass and the juice of fresh green plants. Found in a clean atmosphere with fresh air during autumn, this bug can be seen easily around Mount Odae. Was told that this bug will emit some odour when attacked, but rest assured as it is harmless to human.
